If you had already installed a ISDN adapter with a CAPI driver, please de-install it properly before starting the installation.
Check if your D channel protocol is DSS1 (Euro ISDN)
Have your MSNs (multiple subscriber number) ready
Have your Windows 98 CD ready
Installation
Connect the ISDN cable to the USB ISDN Adapter and a properly installed ISDN (S0 bus) jack
Connect the USB cable to the USB ISDN Adapter and a USB port of your PC
Windows 98 detects the USB ISDN Adapter automatically as new hardware
Insert the installation CD of the USB ISDN Adapter and click "Next" in the next two dialog-boxes
Select the CD-ROM drive, if Windows asks for the path for the driver files and then click "Next" two times
The following dialog box is to choose the D channel protocol. If you have an Euro ISDN access click "Next"
Your telephone company will have informed you which MSN can be used to call you on ISDN. Please insert the first MSN click "Next" and then insert the second MSN and click "Next" again
Select the "standby mode" option you want and click "Next" again
After that please click "Finish"
Insert the Windows 98 CD and click "OK"
Click "Finish" to continue
Click "Yes" to reboot your PC
Now you can use your USB ISDN Adapter
Open the program group "ISDN Utilities". Check the installation of your USB ISDN Adapter and your ISDN line by running the Loopback test program
