If you had already installed a ISDN adapter with a CAPI driver, please uninstall it properly before starting the installation.
Check if your D channel protocol is DSS1 (Euro ISDN) or if another protocol is applied to you
Have your MSNs (multiple subscriber number) ready
Installation
Connect the ISDN cable to the USB ISDN Adapter and a properly installed ISDN (S0 bus) jack
Connect the USB cable to the USB ISDN Adapter and a USB port of your PC
Windows 2000 detects the USB ISDN Adapter automatically as new hardware
Insert the installation CD of the USB ISDN Adapter and click "Next" in the dialog-box
Select "Search for a suitable driver for my device (recommended)" and then click "Next"
Select "CD-ROM drives" and then click "Next"
The following dialog box displays that a driver was found. Click "Next" to proceed.
In the case that a window(s) "Digital Signature not found" appears please click "Yes" to proceed.
The following dialog box is to choose the Setup language for the ISDN Utilities.
Click "OK" to proceed.
Confirm the "Welcome" window by clicking "Next"
Choose the "Destination location" and click "Next"
Choose the name of the "Program Folder" and click "Next"
Windows copies now the "ISDN Utilities" to the harddisk
To complete the installation of the ISDN Utilities click "Finish"
The following dialog box is to choose the D channel protocol. If you have an Euro ISDN access choose "European ISDN (DSS1)" and click "Next", else contact your telephone company to select the protocol applied to you
Your telephone company will have informed you which MSN can be used to call you on ISDN Please insert one or more MSN by using the "Add" button and click "Next" to proceed.
